摘要: In the central part of Middle-Late Proterozoic Jiangnan region, South China, a large ductile shear zone, called Nanchang-Wanzai fault 2–4 km wide, extends for 300 along southern boundary Jiuling Mountains, Jiangxi Province. Mesoscopic fabric, microstructure and quartz C-axis fabrics in mylonite zone provide some kinematic evidence left-lateral wrench movement. This paper reports also TEM (transmission electron microscope) analysis microstructures Differential stresses (σ1−σ3) determined from free dislocations density, subgrain size dynamically recrystallized grain size, lie range 50–190 Mpa. We discuss formation age infer that deformation took place after Late Proterozoic, most likely during Early Paleozoic. Lastly, we emphasize role Caledonian orogenies this area.
