Magnetic dichroism in L 2 , 3 emission of Fe, Co, and Ni following energy-dependent excitation with circularly polarized x rays

摘要: The magnetic dichroism in the ${\mathit{L}}_{2,3}$ emission spectra of Fe, Co, and Ni, following excitation with circularly polarized x rays, is found to exhibit a dramatic dependence on energy. observed changes sign intensity are explained by simple model shown negate use x-ray fluorescence yield detection for quantitative absorption measurements. Multielectron effects be minimized monochromatic threshold excitation.
