The comparison of spiritual health and self-esteem in women with and without sexual violence.

摘要: Background and aim Sexual violence is a serious public health problem which common around the world. The of this study was to evaluate spiritual self-esteem in sexual victims. Methods This cross-sectional performed on 66 subjects group women 147 with no experience who referred Tehran Forensic Medical Center centers Shahid Beheshti University Sciences respectively, 2015, Tehran, Iran. considered as vaginal or anal penetration. Paloutzian & Ellison questionnaire Rosenberg scale were used for data collecting. Data analyzed using IBM-SPSS version 21. Kolmogorov Simonov test normality distribution variables. Descriptive Mann-Whitney tests analyze data. Statistical significance set p<0.05. Results activity both groups started at 20 years old. Most abused single (48.8%), education level below diploma (55.2%), unemployed (67%) an average annual income 200 million Rials ($7,000). Familiarity offender mostly friendship (42.4%), offence had occurred through deception (37.8%). No significant difference found between total mean scores two (M1: 21.89, M2: 21.02; p=0.76) while seen health, indicates lower 74.59 (2.03), 86.39 (3.12); p<0.001). Conclusion results present highlight importance spirituality so policies promote are recommended protect women.
