摘要: AbstractUsing seismic isolation systems for highway bridges modifies the structure’s principal vibration modes and effectively reduces base shear conveyed from superstructure to substructure. However, some low-damping rubber bearings, large displacements can be a problem. Supplemental hysteretic dampers introduced into base-isolated bridge, which might nevertheless increase structure shear, merit of adding has evaluated properly.
