摘要: Abstract Objective To determine whether the amount of bladder neck elevation and position after surgery influence cure rate colposuspension. Design Prospective, observational study. Setting Urogynaecology unit, district general hospital. Population Seventy-seven women undergoing colposuspension for urodynamic stress incontinence. Methods The was imaged pre-operatively one week using magnetic resonance imaging. were correlated to continence outcome year (subjective objective evidence incontinence). Main measures Subjective incontinence surgery. Results At subjective failure rates 11.6% 10.5%, respectively. Measures imaging obtained in 73 women. No association found between post-operative elevation. Conclusion do not outcome. Post-operative morbidity (voiding dysfunction detrusor instability) might be preventable by avoiding excessive compression, without compromising success procedure.
