摘要: The study of physical organic chemistry in solution is a mature science, over century old, but the last 10 years or so, reversible encapsulation has changed way researchers view molecular interactions. It now clear that behavior molecules dilute really quite different from their capsules. Molecules isolated bulk media spaces barely large enough to accommodate them and few neighbors show new phenomena: activities resemble those inside biochemical structures—pockets enzymes, interiors chaperones, inner space ribosome—rather than conventional solution.
