摘要: A theory of the overall rates and molecular weights in slowly-initiated, non-terminated polymerizations is developed for cases complex initiation alkyl cyanoacrylates by tertiary amines. Results with butyl cyanoacrylate (BCA) solvent THF, five different amines (chiefly pyridine derivatives) show widely differing rates. The theory, aid previously determined rate constants, permits same value propagation constant (kp) to be derived all cases, corroborated values from simpler kinetics polymerisation initiated Ph3P. kp shows very slight temperature dependence, less than one order magnitude between 20 −80°C.
