Automatic traffic monitoring using satellite images

摘要: Vital problems in transportation such as mobility and safety of transportation, especially highways road ways, are considered very important nowadays. Road traffic monitoring aims at acquisition analysis signs, presence numbers vehicles, automatic driver warning systems developed mainly for localization purposes. In the past some methods have been presented vehicle recognition, which either accuracy results was not acceptable, or tolerable were achieved only specific conditions. This article presents a new approach recognizing satellite high-resolution images non-urban areas. One this research to control jam roads recognize density quickly accurately‥ For they used feature extraction, image processing machine learning like Hough transform, Gradient, thresholding operation detection extraction SVM Vehicles' detection. The average is about 85 percent it shows that procedure has suitable efficiency.
