摘要: Cryptic animal coloration or camouflage is an adaptation that decreases the risk of detection. The study evolution has strongly emphasized minimization visual information predators receive from prey, by means background matching. However, evolutionary effects processing after its reception have been virtually ignored. I constructed a model employs artificial neural network and simulates prey in visually complex simple habitat. suggests: (1) difficulty detection task related to complexity habitat; (2) it easier decrease (3) selection on can exploit limitations processing; (4) there are shortcomings using degree matching as measure camouflage.
