摘要: Abstract. We present the light scattering of individual Plasmodium falciparum -parasitized human red bloodcells Pf-RBCs , and demonstrate progressive alterations tothe signal arising from development ofmalaria-inducing parasites. By selectively imaging theelectric fields using quantitative phase microscopy aFourier transform technique, we calculatethe maps Pf-RBCs. showthat onset progression pathological states thePf-RBCs can be clearly identified by static scatteringmaps. Progressive changes to biophysical properties ofthe Pf-RBC membrane are captured dynamic lightscattering. © 2010 Society Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
