摘要: Abstract One inconvenience presented by the thermal activation of kaolinite-based wastes is their low content metakaolinite, a highly pozzolanic product listed in current standards for manufacture commercial cements. The addition chemical activator during process priority line research to increase reactivity recycled metakaolinite. In this paper, an additional activator, ZnO, studied and its effect on both properties evolution mineralogical phases coal waste with reaction time up 90 days pozzolan/lime system. To do so, temperatures between 550 °C/650 °C were selected additions (ZnO) percentages 0.0% 3.0% weight waste, because it positive 100% natural kaolinite. results showed that incorporation ZnO inhibited metakaolinite consequence, capacity react surrounding lime; even more so when added was raised, albeit some exceptions, samples activated at 550 °C 650 °C 0.5% activator. none cases under analysis able improve comparison reference sample only temperature. hydrated appeared tetracalcium aluminate hydrate, stratlingite, monosulfoaluminate hydrate LDH (phyllosilicate/carbonate).
