Thermocapillary migration of a planar droplet at small and large Marangoni numbers: effects of interfacial rheology

摘要: In this paper, roles of interfacial rheology on thermocapillary migration a planar droplet at small and large Marangoni numbers are analyzed. Under quasi-steady-state assumption, the time-independent momentum energy equations with boundary conditions determined. An exact solution steady deformed is obtained. It found that has an oblate shape. The deviation from circular section depends Weber number speed. surface shear viscosity, dilatational viscosity internal parameter affect deformation through reducing validity confirmed by determining conservative overall integral equations. At numbers, non-conservative imply always unsteady process.
