摘要: Abstract During the last decade, significant advances have been made in processing of ceramics by a combination techniques utilizing molecular precursors and colloids for powder consolidation. Powder consolidation methods mainly dealt with formation unagglomerated powders size range 0·1–1 μm, preparation colloidal suspensions that are suitable high density compacts filtration and/or plastic forming techniques, removal aids, role on microstructural evolution. In contrast, sol-gel at finer dimensional scale 10–1000 A either molecularly homogenous or nanometer-sized particulates used gels display linear viscoelastic behavior. Similar to green micron-sized powders, these then converted dense heat treatment. This review summarizes concepts common both regimes points synergistic benefits coupling process path. The emphasis is control structure final product lengths ranging from micro- macroscopic dimensions.
