摘要: Dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons can be categorised into at least three types, based upon their neurotrophin requirement for survival. We have analysed the expression of retinoic acid receptors (RARs) and retinoid X (RXRs) in NGF, NT-3 BDNF dependent isolated from embryonic day (E)13.5 mouse DRG. show that each population expressed RXRs, (alpha), (beta) (gamma); however, whilst NGF RARs (gamma), only RAR(alpha) (beta). When was added to neuronal classes responded by extending neurites, this response involved upregulation RAR(beta)(2). This specificity confirmed use receptor-selective agonists as a RAR(beta)-selective compound stimulated neurite outgrowth. These results suggest role RA acting via RAR(beta)(2) outgrowth neurites.
