摘要: Faceting of the vicinal Cu(115) and Cu(119) surfaces due to oxygen adsorption was studied by scanning tunelling microscopy (STM). Both reconstruct into two kinds {104}-type facets a third facet determined macroscopic surface orientation. This is {113}-oriented for {100}-oriented Cu(119).
