摘要: The Saudi construction industry is going through a process of acclimatizing to shifting fiscal environment. Due recent fluctuations in oil prices, the sector decided adjust current trade-market demands and rigorous constitutional regulations because competitive pressures. This quantitative study assesses compares existing flat design vs. mid-terrace housing cost estimation criteria that takes family privacy into consideration meets needs Arabian families (on average consisting seven members). Five pilot surveys were undertaken evaluate property preference type families. However, Existing models did not satisfy medium range accordingly 5D (3D + Time Cost) Building Information Modelling (BIM) proposed for benefiting houses. Research results revealed was best option, as it reduced land usage costs. While, BIM led estimate accurate Bill Quantities (BOQ) appraisal
