摘要: AbstractThis work offers a detailed validation of finite volume (FV) flood models in the case where horizontal floodplain flow is affected by sewer surcharge via manhole. The FV numerical solution 2D shallow water equations considered based on two approximate Riemann solvers, HLLC and Roe, both quadrilateral structured triangular unstructured mesh-types. are validated against high resolution experimental data-set obtained using physical model system linked to It was verified that sensitivity inversely proportional surcharged flow/surface inflow ratio, therefore requires more calibration from user especially when concerned with localised modelling sewer-to-floodplain flow. Our findings provide novel evidence shock capturing FV-based applicable simulate interaction.
