摘要: This paper will be devoted to demonstrating that a better understanding of complex metabolic processes requires deep and reliable interpretation much experimental data. Indeed this aim cannot satisfied without the use advanced modeling identification techniques their critical analysis. In fact, complete procedures should consider all following steps: (1) definition scopes, (2) prior information hypotheses, (3) choice conditions, (4) derivation possible classes models, (5) parameter estimation, (6) errors evaluation, (7) validation ordering identified models. mainly steps 4, 6, 7 which are certainly less assessed ones. However some real advances have been obtained in recent years deserve more widely known applied practical problems. review such important contributions show, by means examples, how they can useful avoiding ambiguities incorrect data evaluating credibility inferred results.
