摘要: Abstract In this paper, the role of TeO2 in radiation attenuating characteristics xTeO2 -10CaF2-(60–0.6x) B2O3 -(30–0.4x) CaO glass system with x = 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 wt% was investigated. The gamma studies were carried out by utilizing Geant4 simulations newly developed Phy-X/PSD program. gamma-shielding present samples examined terms mass attenuation coefficient (μ/ρ), some other related factors such as effective atomic number (Zeff), mean free path (MFP). electron radiation-shielding tested determining stopping power (ψe) CSDA range for each specimen. neutron explored evaluating removal cross section (RCS) glasses. Moreover, G-P method employed to investigate exposure buildup factor (EBF) photon energies up 15 MeV. results showed that content had a significant influence on shielding ability investigated glasses against radiations. contrast, an insignificant capacity involved. Additionally, nuclear-shielding properties studied compared those standard nuclear shields. It can be concluded calcium boro-tellurite have promising future used material gamma, radiation, wherein concentration balanced according desired application.
