摘要: Norepinephrine (NE) signaling has a key role in white adipose tissue (WAT) functions, including lipolysis, free fatty acid liberation and, under certain conditions, conversion of into brite (brown-in-white) adipocytes. However, acute effects NE stimulation have not been described at the transcriptional network level. We used RNA-seq to uncover broad response. The inference protein-protein and protein-DNA interaction networks allowed us identify set immediate-early genes (IEGs) with high betweenness, validating our approach suggesting hierarchical control regulation. In addition, we identified regulatory IEGs as master regulators, HSF1 NFIL3 novel NE-induced IEG candidates. Moreover, functional enrichment analysis gene clustering modules suggest crosstalk between metabolic, signaling, immune responses. Altogether, biology explores for first time systems level response human adipocytes sympathetic activation, thereby providing basis early cell fate programs crosstalks metabolic required proper WAT function.
