摘要: We carried out a maximum expiratory flow-volume curve (MEFV) and spirometric recording with 67 athletes of different ages (15-27 years) disciplines (rowers, kayakists, cyclists, swimmers) 20 adult 13 adolescent nonathletic controls matching ages. These recordings were repeated, only, after 6-10 months training. Significant differences between the groups observed for some parameters, most discriminating which were, in order, peak flow (PEF), forced volume first second (FEV1), at 75% vital capacity (V75). The (VC) itself was only higher rowers group. athletes, when grouped together (n = 47), produced 50% their VC (V50) than control group (+15%, P less 0.05) no difference 25% (V25) nor VC. A study effects training showed evolution among high level while increases 14% PEF, 5% V75, 7% FEV1 found 7-10 adolescents; increased during that time by 2.7%. reproducibility these ventilatory parameters 6-8 studied athletes. upper limit variation (95% CLl) 12% (FVC), 18% 21% V75 V50, 40% V25.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
