Tetra-, Penta- and Hexa-Coordinated Transition Metal Complexes Constructed from Coumarin-Containing N2O2 Ligand

摘要: Three newly designed complexes, [Cu(L)]·CHCl3 (1), [Co(L)(MeOH)]·CHCl3 (2) and [{Ni(L)(MeOH)(PhCOO)}2Ni] (3) a coumarin-containing Salamo-type chelating ligand (H2L) have been synthesized characterized by elemental analyses, IR UV-VIS spectra, X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 includes one Cu(II) atom, completely deprotonated (L)2− unit crystalling chloroform molecule, the atom shows square-planar geometry. 2 Co(II) unit, coordinated methanol molecule molecule. The is distorted trigonal-bipyramidal While complex 3 three Ni(II) atoms, two units, benzoates molecules. complexes are both possess three-dimensional supra-molecular structures abundant noncovalent interactions. But, formed two-dimensional structure intra-molecular hydrogen bonds. In addition, antimicrobial fluorescence properties of H2L its 1, were also investigated.
