摘要: The experience of traumatizing events and resulting posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptomology relates to a range impulsive behaviors. While both PTSD impulsivity are heterogeneous multidimensional constructs, no research has used person-centered approaches examine subgroups individuals based on these response endorsements. Hence, our study examined PTSD-impulsivity typologies their construct validity in two samples: university students (n = 412) community participants recruited through Amazon's MTurk 346). Measures included the Stressful Life Events Screening Questionnaire (PTEs), Checklist for DSM-5 (PTSD severity), UPPS Impulsive Behavior Scale (negative urgency, lack premeditation, perseverance, sensation seeking). Dimensions Anger Reaction (anger), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (depression). For samples, results latent profile analyses indicated best-fitting 3-class solution: High, Moderate, Low PTSD-Negative Urgency. Negative urgency was most distinguishing facet. depression severity significantly predicted membership more severe symptomatology classes. Thus, can be meaningfully categorized into three item We provide some preliminary evidence negative subtype characterized by greater anger regulation difficulties; underscore addressing emotional skills subgroup members.
