摘要: Background Double-eyelid blepharoplasty is the most frequently performed aesthetic surgery in Asian population. However, epicanthal fold has been a conundrum limiting outcomes of blepharoplasty. Furthermore, with blending Western and cultures, patients have individual standards beauty for upper eyelids. Here, we developed four-step technique to form infold or outfold double-eyelid creases satisfy patient requirements. Methods The medical records who simultaneously underwent epicanthoplasty using this from January 2017 2019 were reviewed. results grouped by preoperative requirements eyelid crease shapes. rate meeting expectations each group was evaluated two independent observers. Preoperative postoperative photographs collected, complications identified, assessed. Results In total, 285 consecutive included study, mean follow-up period 9 months. Of patients, 207 requested creases, 190 (92 percent) procedures met expectations; 78 69 (87 expectations. A high satisfaction final shape resulting scarring noted both groups. revision 3 percent.
