摘要: Using scanning electron microscopy, we present new morphological and developmental data on rhizomes aerial flowering shoots of two Japanese Paris species, P. tetraphylla verticillata. Differences in rhizome characters between the species were identified, including 2(–3) annual nodes versus 3–4 verticillata, thick elastic former thin fragile ones latter. Numerous cauline leaves, commonly ranging from (4)5 to 8 are due further separation formation abaxially situated leaf primordia shoot apex. This dorsiventral is unique among vegetative foliage whorls. unusual having apetaliferous flowers; this suppression petal formed early development. The origin flower state differs closely related Trillium by homeosis or loss As a result, four carpels with stylar branches have same antesepalous position both whereas organs petaliferous T. camschatcense alternate sepals apetalon.
