摘要: White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) is an invertebrate virus, causing considerable mortality in shrimp. Two structural proteins of WSSV were identified. virions are enveloped nucleocapsids with a bacilliform morphology approximate size 275 x 120 nm, and tail-like extension at one end. The double-stranded viral DNA has 290 kb. virions, isolated from infected shrimps, contained four major proteins: 28 kDa (VP28), 26 (VP26), 24 (VP24), 19 (VP19) size, respectively. VP26 VP24 found associated nucleocapsids; the others envelope. N-terminal amino acid sequences nucleocapsid protein envelope VP28 obtained by sequencing used to identify respective genes (vp26 vp28) genome. To confirm that open reading frames vp26 (612) vp28 coding for putative virion proteins, they expressed insect cells using baculovirus vectors analyzed Western analysis. A polyclonal antiserum against total confirmed origin VP28. Both transmembrane domain their N terminus many N- O-glycosylation sites. These showed no homology suggesting, together lack sequence other viruses, may be representative new virus family, Whispoviridae.
