摘要: Neisseria gonorrhoeae is a facultative intracellular bacterium capable of penetrating into certain human epithelial cell types. In order to identify gonococcal factors essential for invading Chang conjunctiva cells, gentamicin selection assay the quantification viable bacteria was used in conjunction with microscopy. The results demonstrate correlation between invasive behaviour gonococci and expression Opa proteins, family variable outer membrane proteins present all pathogenic species. However, only particular supported invasion cells as indicated by use two unrelated strains. Invasion sensitive cytochalasin D, strong adherence mediated appeared be internalization gonococci. contrast pili, which also conferred binding did not support cellular but rather were inhibitory.
