摘要: The current research investigates how people make sexual decisions when romantic partners’ desires conflict, situations we refer to as interdependence dilemmas. Across an experimental study, a retrospective recall and 21-day daily experience found that who were motivated meet their partner’s needs—those high in communal strength—were more willing engage sex with partner, even own desire was low, result, both partners reported enhanced relationship satisfaction. benefits of strength due communally oriented people’s increased promote interests decreased pursue interests.
