摘要: We performed a transversal-type epidemiological study in the state of Morelos, Mexico, to determine presence triatomines, their ecotopes, and importance transmission Trypanosoma cruzi Chagas. Sampling sites included domestic, peridomestic, wild areas with collection based on person per hour technique. determined entomological indices related infestation, density, overcrowding, colonization, infection, dispersion, which were used calculate risk. During study, observations made predominant building material, cracks illumination as factors fostering colonization. The most important results infection indices, higher for domestic type triatomines (29%), whereas it was 4% peridomestic sites, 20% sylvatic areas. actual risk human contact vector 0.51%, predominating ecotopes stone heaps.
