摘要: Abstract Component surface optimisation through the application of structuring is understood to be beneficial performance and longevity a component in service. However, multi-functional requirements defined at design stage can difficult realise. Utilisation electrochemical jet processing (EJP) methods allows wide-range variation structures over multitude length scales. Surface characteristics such as roughness depth cut controlled by selection suitable process parameters. With an optimised control structure, it possible directly impart intent create specific programmed surface. EJP-specific computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software has been developed reported here. This demonstrated processes parameter function part local co-ordinates allow complete CAD CAM translation intent. In this way both meso- micro-scale features specifically located on Alongside this, functionally graded surfaces are created stainless steel mathematical functions allowing automated current feed rate achieve desired distribution. Using greyscale image parameters map with current, therefore roughness, being proportional grey tone value, practical further direct digitised imagery replication. functionality for fast creation repeatable, surfaces.
