摘要: Abstract Introduction Receptor status determines of breast cancer treatment and prognosis. In a population-based study, we investigated predictors receptor test receipt. Materials methods Invasive cancers diagnosed 2006–2008 were abstracted from the National Cancer Registry Ireland. Modified Poisson regression with robust error variance was used to identify socio-demographic, health service clinical not undergoing ER, PR or HER2 testing. Results 7619 included. 7% tested for any receptor. 92%, 80% 86% had oestrogen (ER), progesterone (PR) human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2) tests, respectively; 73% all three. For three unmarried women significantly less likely be than married women. Current smokers more often ER tests. Women treated in high-volume hospital Conclusion After adjusting factors, socio-demographic service-related factors predicted Some deserve further investigation, especially marital status. interests equity, reasons underlying these associations should investigated.
