摘要: In order to broaden the applications of nano magnesium oxide (NMgO), as a sorbent, in potable water defluoridation, it is pertinent understand variables that define defluoridation efficiency. The efficiency NMgO was evaluated groundwater (GW) system contaminated with chromium (Cr(VI)), one naturally occurring oxyanions GW. synthesized, characterized and parameters sorption Cr(VI) fluoride (F−) were obtained synthetic feed GW contained single sorbate specie. Competitive studies carried out, using each ionic species, either interest or interfering specie, two aqueous matrixes. efficiencies (%) F− by competitive coefficient values far lower than for same parameters, when role studied an specie NMgO. magnitudes competition higher system. contrast, determination effects on quality characteristics showed carbonate also exhibited antagonistic process.
