摘要: Abstract Research to understand human responses wildlife and issues has predominantly focused on cognitions. Yet, as emotions are basic wildlife, important too. Integrating cognition emotion concepts could foster the overall understanding of human-wildlife relationships. This study tested relationships between valence (the pleasant-unpleasant dimension emotion) regarding value orientations (patterns cognitions in context wildlife). Also, this estimated additional predictive potential next for acceptability lethal control support conservation. Analyses showed that was associated with orientations. Valence had explanatory conservation support. Valence, however, did not have control. Based these findings, we recommend integrating measurements future research issues. managers take stakeholders into account their communication decision-making processes.
