摘要: The onset of convection in a horizontal layer nanofluid is studied analytically. model used for the incorporates effects Brownian motion and thermophoresis, allows local thermal noneguilibrium (LTNE) between particle fluid phases. analysis reveals that some circumstances, effect LTNE can be significant, but typical dilute (with large Lewis number with small particle-to-fluid heat capacity ratio), small.
