摘要: Abstract A novel technique is described for the immobilisation of plant cells. The method simple and does not require use potentially toxic gels entrapment process. Liquid-suspended cells two species, Capsicum frutescens Mill. Daucus carota L. were found to invade, strongly retained in, polyurethane foam particles over a 21 day period. viability te immobilised was high (70–80% alive after days). On agitation loaded in fresh liquid medium, at least 95% remained 3 or 4 days.
