摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews the theoretical developments in understanding of quantum mechanical symmetries as they pertain to few particle systems. It discusses space-time such parity and time reversal invariance, internal charge symmetries. describes violation (PV) non-leptonic or hadronic Recent experiments heavy nuclei leave little room for doubt that a weak parity-violating force exists between nucleons. However, standard Cabibbo theory interactions applied its simplest form predicts is more than an order magnitude smaller observations. There remain uncertainties nuclear part calculated asymmetries. improved models have been used over past two years make it doubtful fault lies there. Nevertheless, PV hadron systems allow one test this assumption. The single exchange do not give any neutrons protons. proposed experiment would only these predictions but also measure pion other contributions force.
