摘要: Many scholars argue that hostland social integration will encourage moderate political attitudes among diasporas. On the other hand, structural is thought to affect opportunity structure of diasporas, but not their attitudes. In this paper we offer an alternative explanation for relationship between and diaspora Our argument, based on findings in psychology work, empowers diasporas process contextualize war-related experiences make sense daily life, through mechanism a higher coherence, enables them envision common future with groups both host homeland. We find support our claims unique set survey data collected amoung four populations Sweden: encourages reconciliatory while does not. Through transnational engagement, has potential lasting peace homelands.
