摘要: Injuries resulting from falls are a significant public health issue, particularly for older people. This review provides an update of the evidence on effects various physical activity (PA) or exercise intervention strategies prevention unintentional among Six systematic reviews, and three randomised controlled trials not incorporated in previous were located with literature search. There is clear that targeted supervised home program strength balance walking practice, prescribed by trained professional, can prevent community dwellers. also indication untargeted group (ie, individually prescribed) dwellers, if it involves Tai Chi other exercises which challenge balance. some individual prescription PA more important frailer groups. Further investigation required to establish residential aged care, relative different types populations. In addition, multidisciplinary, multifactorial, health/environmental risk factor screening/intervention programs have been found be effective preventing falls. For many individuals factors (eg, impaired strength, functional ability), alone likely reduce those additional visual impairments, psychoactive medication use), interventions may required.
