摘要: OBJECTIVES The goal of this study was to assess entrainment for distinguishing far-field potentials (FFP) due depolarization tissue at a distance from the mapping catheter local potential (LP) electrode during ventricular tachycardia (VT). BACKGROUND Electrograms with multiple peaks commonly complicate and identification ablation targets in infarcts. METHODS Retrospective analysis data eight patients prior infarction performed evaluate multipotential electrograms sites where pacing entrained VT. Potentials that were visible not altered defined as FFP. obscured by stimulus designated possible LPs. criteria FFP then assessed second cohort five patients. RESULTS At 32 39 (82%) potentials, identified one an Radiofrequency ablation, 15 sites, reduced amplitude LPs 62%, without significant effect on amplitude. 56% measuring postpacing interval would lead erroneous classification site location relative reentry circuit. In prospective evaluation, double 77 infarcts; demonstrated 66 (86%) sites. CONCLUSIONS Far-field are common Many can be distinguished entrainment, improving accuracy mapping.
