Phase II to phase I crystal transformation in polybutene-1 single crystals: a reinvestigation

摘要: The spontaneous phase II to I crystal-crystal transformation of polybutene-1 was investigated by electron diffraction and bright- dark-field imaging solution thinfilm grown single crystals. Whole crystals were observed transform with a orientational relationship and, in the case multiple orientations, transformed areas not dependent on growth sectors. These results do support views Holland Miller “twinned” determined sectors but are consistent scheme introduced Fujiwara. Nucleation further discussed.
