摘要: Despite conventional wisdom that spin-1/2 systems have no classical analog, we introduce a set of coupled oscillators with solutions exactly map onto the dynamics an unmeasured electron spin state in arbitrary, time-varying, magnetic field. While not addressing quantum measurement problem (discrete outcomes and their associated probabilities), this new analog yields classical, physical interpretation Zeeman splitting, geometric phase, electron’s doubled gyromagnetic ratio, other phenomena. This Lagrangian-based model can be used to clarify division between systems, might also serve as guidepost for certain approaches foundations.
