摘要: Abstract Crop-hail insurance companies, both private and governmental, insure about 15% of the national crop value, their data represent a better source information to evaluate economic aspects hail loss than exist for any other form severe weather. Past results these were used 1) illustrate variations in hall losses on various time space scales, 2) reveal through Illustrations limitations available need make estimates derive total period or place. The nation's greatest area is Great Plains ($86 million annually) with Corn Belt ranking second ($67 million).
