摘要: The experiment was conducted to determine the effects of different photoperiods and darkness on growth survival juvenile Catla catla in laboratory for 90 days. Fishes were divided into four aquaria (10 fish per aquarium), subjected photoperiod regimes 8 hours light: 16 dark (8L:16D), (16L:8D), continuous light (24L:0D) complete (0L:24D). maximum minimum observed group darkness, respectively. mean body weight these groups significantly (p<0.05) from other which day 60. Survival rate 100 percent all except one under dark, where 30 mortality recorded. Mean final rate, specific daily feed intake their means regime. A is suggested better rearing Indian major carp, C. controlled conditions.
