摘要: Stable aqueous solutions of cationic polyvinylalcohol/melamine-formaldehyde resin interaction products are provided comprising polyvinyl alcohol polymer and melamine-formaldehyde acid colloid in a weight ratio, on dry basis, from about 0.4/1 to 5/1, sufficient water give solids content 0.7% by up level that will not cause gelation stage no flow under the force gravity 48 hours but excess 6% weight. These have good stability, high absorption capacity onto cellulose pulp. The use these paper making results increased processing capability improved wet strength paper.
