Rules of Reference in the new Convention on the Law of the Sea, in particular in connection with the pollution of the sea by oil from tankers

摘要: The Draft Convention on the Law of Sea (hereafter referred to as “the Convention”) includes provisions which refer rules public international law but give no indication either their content or source. In this paper these are called “rules reference”. This reference does not mean that application projected itself is overridden by indicated. On contrary, indicated incorporated into reference, demonstrated in section 3 infra.
