摘要: Abstract This paper focuses on the effects of anisotropic diffusion in theory irradiation deformation non-cubic metals, where assumption isotropic required conventional rate is not expected to be generally valid. To address this, methodology used first generalized include diffusion. Reaction constants and sink strengths for spherical, cylindrical planar sinks are derived using methods reaction kinetics controlled by It shown that a material diffusional anisotropy difference (DAD) between vacancies interstitials can give rise very significant bias. bias zero-order effect completely overwhelm caused first-order point-defect/sink elastic interaction difference. Thus, contrary implications theory, edge dislocations materials necessarily biased towards interstitials. Similarly, grain boundaries surfaces no longer neutral sinks. The resulting applied explain some “anomalous” behaviour zirconium under irradiation.
