摘要: The impacts of management actions that can be taken during composting on product quality are often unclear. In this study the effects mixing and aeration microbial community structure were investigated using mixed static–bed reactors operated at different rates. Aeration had an impact process temperature and dynamics in as measured by phospholipid fatty acid (PLFA) analysis. Mixing a larger influence dynamics when was aerated 210 mL/min/kg than 620 mL/min/kg. PLFA biomarkers indicate stress anaerobic communities increased with time all treatments. The increase greater treatments mL/min/kg. During later stages of composting, PLFA eukaryotic biomass but decreased This demonstrated extent which compost community structure influenced analysis used tool to better understand the microbial changes resulting from differences management.
