摘要: Abstract Introduction Correct placement of the sustentacular screw is an important component during open reduction and internal fixation calcaneal fractures. The hypothesis this study that certain 3D-CT images would help detect real sustentaculum screw. aims are to investigate postoperative status evaluate effect on treatment intra-articular Patients methods 119 patients with fractures meeting inclusion criteria were included in prospective study. was detected via radiographs CT scans. According screw, divided into three groups: accurate (group A), marginal B), non-fixation C). perioperative parameters change Bohler's angles final follow-up analyzed. clinical outcomes evaluated by AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score Short Form-36 questionnaire. Results Eighty-five followed up average time 26 (range, 12–48) months. confirmed 18 cases group A, 33 B, 34 C. Except length stay, significant difference operating blood loss existed among groups ( P > 0.05). Conclusion may cause decrease angle throughout follow-up. similar whether accurately placed within or not.
