摘要: Sudden cardiac death is one of the leading causes in patients with congenital heart disease, especially repaired cyanotic and left obstructive lesions. While overall annual incidence sudden relatively low, estimated at 0.09% per year, this nonetheless represents a many-fold increase over that comparable age-matched control populations. The most frequent cause believed to be arrhythmic, usually ventricular arrhythmia. Most studies investigating risk factors for arrhythmia and/or have focused on tetralogy Fallot Mustard/Senning repair complete transposition great arteries. Despite multitude factors, their predictive value occurrence low. Current experience implantable cardioverter defibrillators patient population limited observational selection prophylactic defibrillator implantation impeded both by absence randomized trials weak predictors. Catheter ablation tachycardia has emerged as promising therapy abolishing or reducing burden but still impact long-term outcome uncertain. Future will focus improving stratification disease.
