摘要: We present a new methodology in the direct imaging of P-to-S converted phases recorded on broadband seismic arrays. Our approach is based conventional three-component array processing and receiver function techniques with key addition weighted stack an aerial smoothing function. This creates synthetic arrays specified aperture whose image points vary continuously across array. With this approach, it possible to interpolate data from stations onto arbitrarily fine grid. have applied technique single deep event by Lodore array, located northern Colorado southern Wyoming. The resulting images show distinct differences crustal structure also major upper mantle discontinuities.
